Terms of Service

The rules of engagement for using The Karen. Straightforward and honest.

What The Karen Is

The Karen is an AI-powered customer service tool designed to help consumers get refunds, resolve disputes, and navigate customer service processes. The product is currently in a waitlist phase — by signing up, you're expressing interest in early access when we launch.

The Karen provides assistance and guidance, but we are not a law firm and nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. For legal matters, consult a qualified attorney.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

We help you make the strongest possible case for refunds and dispute resolutions, but we cannot guarantee any specific outcome. Refund decisions are ultimately made by the companies involved. Success depends on the company's policies, your specific situation, and factors outside our control.

The refund guides on this site are informational resources based on publicly available policies and common consumer experiences. They are not guarantees that any particular approach will work in your case.

Your Responsibilities

When using The Karen, you agree to provide accurate information about your situation. Misrepresenting facts to companies — through our tool or otherwise — is your responsibility, not ours. You agree not to use the service for fraudulent claims or to abuse company policies.

You're also responsible for the security of your account credentials and for any actions taken through your account.

Intellectual Property

All content on thekaren.com — including text, design, graphics, and the AI models powering the service — is owned by The Karen Holdings, Inc. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without permission. The refund guides may be shared via link, but not republished.

Limitation of Liability

The Karen Holdings, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, during the waitlist phase, is zero).

We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify waitlist subscribers by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
