What We Collect
Right now, The Karen is in waitlist mode. The only personal information we collect is your email addresswhen you sign up for the waitlist. That's it. No names, no phone numbers, no payment details, no tracking pixels following you around the internet.
When the product launches, we may collect additional information needed to provide the service (such as account details for companies you want us to contact on your behalf). We'll update this policy before that happens.
How We Use Your Email
We use your email address for one purpose: to notify you when The Karen is ready to launch or when we have important updates about the product. We send emails through Resend, our email delivery provider.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We do not send marketing emails for other products. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies — only what's technically necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics trackers. We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns, but we do not build individual user profiles.
Data Retention
We keep your email address on our waitlist until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need it (for example, if we shut down the waitlist after launch). If you want your email removed, just ask — see the contact section below.
Your Rights (CCPA & GDPR)
If you're a California resident, you have the right under the CCPA to know what personal information we've collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We don't sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR including access, correction, deletion, and portability of your data. Our legal basis for processing your email is consent (you gave it when you signed up for the waitlist).

Want us to delete your data? Email us at hello@thekaren.comwith the subject line "Delete my data" and we'll remove your email from our systems within 7 days.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes, we'll notify waitlist subscribers by email before the changes take effect. Minor clarifications may be made without notice. The date at the top of this page always reflects the last update.
